On March 20th 2019 ASIS Malaysia Chapter organized the 1st security conference in 2019 and in the 1st initiatives by the new Management Committee elected 3 months ago. Kudos to the new committee. 20 participants attended this security conference hosted by Swift Corporation held at VE Hotel Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
ASIS Malaysia Secretary Mohd Hafiz welcome all the participants. ASIS Malaysia Chairman Dr. EL Ching shared the information related to ASIS International and his strategic plans to manage and make ASIS Malaysia an organization of choice for security practitioners in Malaysia.
Speakers from Swift Corporation shared the knowledge on securing the money being transferred around the world. The other speaker Dr. Tony Zalewski, Vice Chairman ASIS Melbourne Chapter who have published many books and research papers on security management shared his knowledge on operational security risk management. Dr. Tony not only shared his security expertise but also given away 10 books to the lucky participants. This book was printed on Jan 8th, 2019 fresh from the oven and not sold yet on the shelf.
